What is Our Purpose?

To provide Health and Dental Care for the poor, the needy, the indigent, the underinsured and the uninsured without charge. We seek to reclaim the Biblical Commitment to care for the needy. With the volunteer services of health professionals and the volunteer support staff, the clinic provides primary health care at
no cost to persons who are without health benefits.

What is the Saint Paul's Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic?
 

The Saint Paul's Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic (SPNFMC) is a place where persons with no health benefits can receive medical and dental health care without cost. It is a place where we believe that maintaining good health is as important as treating poor health. We make every effort to help our patients do both.

Who is Eligible for Medical or Dental Services at Saint Paul's Neighborhood Free Services Medical Clinic?

Those persons who have no health benefits and income is 150% of the poverty level. That means an individual whose annual income is less than $12,300 and who has no health care is eligible for care at the Free Clinic. A family of 3 or more whose income is less than $20,800 is also eligible. Persons who are on Medicare or Medicaid cannot be seen by physicians or dentists at the Free Clinic.

Who will be my Physician or Dentist?
 

When you become a patient at Saint Paul's Neighborhood Free Clinic, we assume responsibility to see that you are given the best care possible as quickly as possible. That means that you will be cared for by the first available physician or dentist on our staff. Consequently, you may not be seen by the same physician or dentist each time you come to the center. However, your files are available to the physician or dentist seeing you so that he or she will be familiar with your medical/dental history and any medications you may be
taking.

What about Appointments?
 

Patients are seen by appointments only Dental appointments are scheduled upon referral of

What Costs are Involved?

There are no costs for any patient we see. When you qualify as a patient of the Free
Clinic, services are provided at no cost to you. This is made possible because all of our staff
are volunteers and because we will solicit contributions for the on going cost of building maintenance, utilities, supplies, etc.

What are the Kinds of Things We are Prepared to Care For?

Pediatric Care
1. Well-Child examinations to evaluate physical and emotional growth and development, as well as overall health.
2. Episodic illness care for children.
3. Dental Care (Basic)


Adult Care
1. Well-Adult care to evaluate risk factors for disease development and preventive care measures.
2. Episodic illness care for adults.
3. Diagnosis and management of mild to moderate chronic diseases, hypertension diabetes, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive lung disease, arthritis.
4. Minor trauma, sprains, bruises.
5. Office routine uncomplicated gynecology.
6. Surgical options.
7. Disease screening; hypertension, diabetes, breast cancer, colon cancer.
8. Driver's examinations
9. Medication reviews.
10. Provide assistance in obtaining required medication.
11. Dental Care.
